Events Support

An Events Support essentially is responsible in assisting the Sales & Marketing team in the logistical management of corporate, public and private events hosted by the company. The individual will become involved within all aspects of events management, ranging from inception to the finishing of an event. With that in line, this position demands an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about event management.


Events Support job responsibilities:

The principle tasks listed below are all applicable to all the appointed of Events Support shall include but not limited to the following;-

  • Applying for government approval for events;
  • To assist with the implementation of the marketing strategy with specific objectives and targets as agreed;
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
  • Ensure that all printed promotional material is distributed effectively throughout company departments and to the company board to include posters and leaflets;
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers;
  • Organising and attending company events and exhibitions, conferences and meetings, which may occur after office hours;
  • Making sure that all parts of a campaign run smoothly by liaising with the Company Managements, Supervisor and Foreman with respect to performance of event management;
  • Reporting on the campaign's progress to managers;
  • Keeping proper documentation of all projects.

  • Good administrative and IT skills (i.e Microsoft Office);
  • Time management skills;
  • Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Must have own transportation;
  • Must be fluent in Malay and English;
  • Must possess strong leadership skills;
  • A pro-active and can-do attitude, willing to work odd hours, even when working under pressure.
